A toast, then, to the Queen of the Bay, through her troubles!
May she shine always, graceful and proud!

Deepa,
I hope you and loved ones are safe
Yes, I am well, so are all my guides and other associate staff. Thank you so much for your concern.
This is now a hostage situation that feels like something out of a Hollywood movie, quite unreal and something Mumbai has not seen before. I'm almost expecting Bruce Willis to walk out, announcing that the bad guys are dead.
I saw some blurry photos of the men who were holding people hostage, and they seemed very young. What a tragic stupid meaningless waste.
At the moment I am more angry than anything else at the loss of life and damage to buildings that are familiar and dear to me.
When I step back and think about it, at the reports of daily violence from every corner of the globe, it seems to me that the world is becoming a dark place indeed. My message to myself is simple - the darker it gets, the more candles I will light.
There is much meaningful good I can do and much help I can bring to people in need. Perhaps it will balance out the evil. That sounds very corny, but I believe it is the only way. How else can you and I change the world?
glad to know everyone is safe.
Only one LAW should be framed for "anti-terrorism" in INDIA :
Kill the terrorists, not on the spot but slowly-slowly, making like "quarter-murders" everyday & displaying it 2 their nations !
No more enquiries, no more court hearings.
Sorry to say that out Judicial System is failure.
Thank you for your inspiring comments. I'm glad you and your family are safe.
I lived in Mumbai and took two of your tours. I was crying when I saw Taj burning, this scene just broke my heart. But I believe that Mumbai is a resilient place and it will rise, like Phoenix out of flames. I am not even thinking twice about coming to Mumbai again - savages will not stop us from loving this Maximim City.
